Guernsey Berthing Guide

Guernsey’s location at the Southwestern approaches of the English Channel makes its principal harbour of St. Peter Port and ideal stopover location for yachts that are either on delivery, in transit or cruising Northern European waters with guests onboard.

Oceanskies are the only port agents in Guernsey who are located within the harbour who specialise solely in the handling of yachts.

As agents we organise harbour and customs clearances, berthing and/or anchoring allocation, harbour pilots, linesmen and garbage disposal for visiting yachts.

We have our own Oceanskies tender which can be used by us to come out to vessels at anchor.

Fuel can be supplied at a competitive rate. There is no VAT in Guernsey and all MGO fuel is duty and tax free regardless of whether the vessel is a private or commercial yacht.

We can also receive stores or equipment to our address in Guernsey in advance of the vessel’s arrival to go onboard as well as assisting with crew changes as part of a full range of concierge services.

This Guernsey Guide to Berthing provides information on berthing and anchorage arrangements in more detail.
