Oceanskies was pleased to welcome a brand new Princess P60 motor yacht to Guernsey earlier this week for customs clearance, completion of Guernsey vessel registration formalities and refuelling.
Oceanskies carried out the registration of the vessel on behalf of the owner under Part I of the British Register of Ships at the Port of Guernsey.
The fully inclusive registration service included liaising with the builder and broker to perfect chain of title in the vessel, the tonnage survey, obtaining the vessel's radio licence in addition to organising the completion of Carving & Marking formalities.
Upon arrival in St. Peter Port Guernsey the vessel berthed right outside the offices of Oceanskies on the Boatworks+ refuelling berth.
Whilst the vessel was refuelling Tom Becker of Oceanskies welcomed the crew of the vessel with coffee in their offices whilst Adrian Ogier of Oceanskies handled customs and export formalities with the local customs and collected the vessel's Certificate of British Registry from the local ship registry.
The whole process was completed within an hour and the vessel was able to head onwards towards the UK to be shipped as deck cargo onboard a cargo vessel to the Mediterranean ready for the summer season.
The vessel's project manager wrote a short email to Oceanskies after the vessel's visit simply saying "Thanks for all your help great service and I will be making sure I get the word out about you guys."
