Guernsey Aircraft Registry to become a Channel Island Aircraft Registry?

According to media reports it seems likely that the Guernsey Aircraft Registry which is due to launch later this year may become a Channel Islands Aircraft Registry in order to include Jersey as well as Guernsey.

We would in principal welcome such a move as it would seem logical for the two islands to combine efforts in developing a workable joint registry solution.

We understand from media reports that Jersey's Chief Minister has said that a formal announcement will be made soon regarding Guernsey and Jersey having a combined registry and we shall provide further updates on the situation.
