Oceanskies Completes Registration of Contest 50CS Sailing Yacht

Oceanskies are pleased to announce that they have completed the registration of a Contest 50CS sailing yacht under Part I of the British Register of Ships at the Port of Jersey.

Designed by Georg Nissen the clean lines, sophisticated rig with ample sail area of the Contest 50CS makes this model one of the most popular yachts constructed by the Conyplex yard in the Netherlands.

The yacht was purchased by a private owner who wanted to enjoy the benefits of Part I of the British Register of Ships.

Oceanskies assisted with the entire sale process working closely with the client and the yacht broker acting for the Seller. Prior to registration at the Port of Jersey the vessel was deleted from the German register of ships.

The actual closing of the transaction occurred in Guernsey where are Oceanskies are based.

Oceanskies provided the owner with the full management and oversight of the yacht purchase and registration process including the vessel's tonnage survey and the appointment of a Jersey based local representative person for registration purposes.
