Dion joined Oceanskies in 2026 as a senior software developer. He graduated from the University of Southampton in 2015 with a first-class master’s degree in Information Technology in Organisations, where he interned for the Web Science and the Agents, Interaction and Complexity research groups.

Since then, he has built a decade-long career developing complex, data-driven web applications. His experience spans customer-facing analytics and visualisation platforms as well as internal business systems, across a range of industries and problem domains. Alongside hands-on delivery, he enjoys mentoring fellow developers, leading code reviews, and shaping the decisions that keep software reliable and maintainable.

Outside of work, Dion follows advances in science and technology, tinkers with side projects, and enjoys gaming, film, and a good quiz.
