Oceanskies Supports The Antibes SNSM Lifeboat

Instead of sending Christmas cards this year Oceanskies has chosen to donate to the Antibes SNSM lifeboat.

Antibes SNSM lifeboat is the largest lifeboat in Alpes Maritime department, providing sea rescue around the Cote D Azur and as far out as Corsica.

The operation of the lifeboat relies entirely on donations.

The vessel is manned by a volunteer crew who give their time and risk their lives for no financial reward.

They are on emergency call 24/7, 365 days of the year and are ready to put to sea within 15 minutes of a shout.

With so many of our client yachts and crew based in the Cote d’Azur area Oceanskies felt that this was a very worthy cause for us to support.
