Viking Crew Guernsey Launched As Joint Venture Between Oceanskies and Viking Maritime Group

We are delighted to announce that Viking Crew, part of the Viking Maritime Group have made the decision to bring the employment and payroll services they provide in-house through the formation of a new joint venture company, in Guernsey in partnership with Oceanskies.

The Viking Maritime Group specialises in recruiting and training high calibre, STCW-certificated officers, officer cadets and crew for the cruise and superyacht industries. Their Viking Crew division is a leading cruise, superyacht and specialist maritime crew services provider.

Viking Crew Guernsey has a dedicated team based on Guernsey comprised of Tom Becker, Tom de la Mare and Dan Moody who are working directly with the current Viking Crew teams in Dover, Auckland and Fort Lauderdale.

Paul Rutterford, Operations Director of Viking Crew said, ‘I am very pleased to be launching Viking Crew Guernsey together with our Guernsey based team as a joint venture between Oceanskies and Viking Maritime Group. This is an extremely exciting time for Viking Maritime Group, in being able to offer our very own in-house employment and payroll operation based in Guernsey. In turn it will allow us to provide a more bespoke and tailored service, which I am confident will be of benefit to our portfolio of clients’.

Tom Becker, Director of Viking Crew Guernsey said, ‘It’s been an exciting time, taking the IT development of Oceanskies to the next level allowing us to provide a seamless integration of our app-based service to Viking Crew clients. The team and I look forward to the next set of challenges and building a strong and stable business based on providing the highest level of service.

By creating and operating Viking Crew Guernsey in-house Viking Crew will be able to provide better efficiency, service, cost and control for all of their clients.

For further information concerning the crew services provided by the Viking Marine Group and/or Oceanskies please do not hesitate to contact us.
