Oceanskies have published a guide to explain the obligations of yacht crew and the employers of yacht crew working onboard Malta registered yachts for the purpose of social security contributions.
The guide follows the attendance of Oceanskies at a recent attendance in Nice for the ECPY social security and French law conference by Tom Becker.
Tom Becker said, "we employ many seafarers working onboard Malta registered yachts and the responsible crew employment companies are properly registered as an employer in Malta for the purpose of making the relevant contributions".
