CrewMate provides Captains and managers with comprehensive monitoring via the CrewOS portal, ensuring that the employment of the crew onboard is MLC compliant.
The CrewMate app allows crew to upload and keep track of all qualifications held. If, for any reason anything is missing or expiring it will be brought to the attention of the crew member and the point of contact for their employment to be rectified as soon as possible.
As the employer, Oceanskies regularly checks if certificates held on seafarer’s profiles are sufficient for their role and that documents, such as an ENG1, are valid when submitted to the app. This is not limited to individual seafarer documents, files like insurance and yacht registry documents which expire are also kept on our radar to ensure MLC compliance across vessels at all times.
