Oceanskies is an amazing team of over twenty-five individuals split between our offices in Guernsey and Malta

Ryan Fallaize

Ryan joined Oceanskies in 2015.

He has been involved at all levels in yacht registrations, yacht leasing structures, aircraft aquisitions and crew payroll. As the company grew, Ryan lead the yacht registration team, consulting  with clients regarding vessel registrations, acquisitions and other operational matters. To date he has been assisted with over 500 registrations of yachts and superyachts varying from 5m to 100m. 

Ryan is a recognised member of the Royal Institute of Naval Architects (RINA) and the International Institute of Marine Surveying (IIMS). He holds a Professional Diploma in Marine Surveying from North Kent College and Lloyds Maritime Academy.  He has attended many training events and courses held by organisations like the Yacht Designers & Surveyors Association (YDSA) and the Society of Consulting Marine Engineers and Ship Surveyors (SCMS). Most recently Ryan has completed an intensive practical survey training course at Fox's Marina & Boatyard in Ipswich lead by Surveyors of British Marine Surveyors Europe (BMSE). 

Ryan is also an approved tonnage surveyor enabling him to carry out tonnage measurement surveys on any under 24 meter vessels requiring registration at any of the red-ensign registries. 

In June 2021 Ryan became a Director of Oceanskies Survey.

The formation of Oceanskies Survey and Ryan's appointment as Director is further progression in Oceanskies as a brand being able to provide an entirely comprehensive in-house service to yacht owners. As the principal Surveyor, Ryan is responsible for conducting various surveys including; condition, valuation, pre-delivery and insurance. 

In his spare time Ryan enjoys all outdoor pursuits, he is a keen golfer and surfer.
