Overview

Oceanskies assists prospective and existing yacht owners with the registration and documentation of their vessels.

We assist the owners of yachts of all sizes from the smallest vessels to the largest superyachts.

The factors determining the best choice of registration for an owner and corresponding documentary requirements are numerous and include

The Client:

  • Their nationality and/or citizenship
  • Their country of residence
  • Their geographical cruising intentions
  • Whether they will use the vessel privately or for charter (or both)
  • Who they will invite onboard the vessel

The Vessel

  • Whether a new build or a pre-owned vessel
  • If a pre-owned vessel where is it currently registered
  • Year of build
  • Length & tonnage
  • Location
  • Value
  • Number of crew
  • Has EU VAT or any other relevant sales tax been paid or to be paid
